Installation

MdStyled installs exactly like any other VS Code extension: no special steps, no build tools, no configuration.

From VS Code

1. Open the Extensions view (Cmd+Shift+X on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+X on Windows/Linux).
2. Search for MdStyled.
3. Click Install.

From the marketplace

Open the MdStyled page in the VS Code Marketplace from your browser and click Install, and VS Code will handle the rest.

After installing

Launch or reload VS Code, then you're ready to go:

• Open a Markdown file and run MdStyled: Open Preview to see the styled result.
• Get a starter theme with MdStyled: Apply Template.
• On the first preview of an unstyled file, MdStyled asks which template should be the default. Pick one and unstyled Markdown previews beautifully from then on.
